Several large brightly colored skulls were displayed around downtown San Antonio at the time of Dia De Los Muertos.
There was so much great folk art at the Dia De Los Muertos celebration Nov. 1-2 at The Historic Pearl in San Antonio. There were altars, musicians, skulls and more.

Of course there are colorful skulls. These were on exhibit Nov. 1-2.
The Spanish Governor’s Palace was the headquarters of Presidio San Antonio de Béjar in what is now San Antonio, Texas. The building is a Historical National Landmark.
Quanah Parker was a Comanche war leader in the Great Plains including the Texas Panhandle. This statue stands outside the Briscoe Museum of Western Art in San Antonio.
Charles “Charlie” Goodnight was one of the best known ranchers in Texas in the late 19th and early 20th century. His statue stands outside the Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio.
